Things to do and the subject of vidja gaming.
First of all, am I allowed to grin stupidly that my Cloud/Barret pic has got more faves in such a short space of time than anything ese I've ever done?
I thought only me and about three other people liked them as a pairing anyway. Weird.
Playing FFXII again, for the hell of it. Well, I'm fliting between that, Dirge of Cerberus (not because it's a good game, but it makes me laugh for all the wrong reasons - I kinda like it), FFVII, answering The Boy's incesant questions while he's playing FFVIII and having the urge to pick up Legacy of Kain again...any one of them will do.
The original Blood Omen might be a good start. If I'm going to play it again, might as well take it from the beginning.
Damn, sudden idea. I was considering picking up a PS3 at some point, I've got the 360 but you can never have too many consoles IMO. Then I just remembered, The Boy keeps going on at me that I've not got MGS2. I'm pretty sure I did, I just can't find the damn game. But as he's addicted to MGS3 when he's not playing Oblivion, it means I can get him MGS4. Hell yes.
One day he may forgive me that I played MGS when he was too young to remember.
Oh, and the new Transformers game looks rather shiny. And Bayonetta looks like it could be fun - hell it's from the creator of the original DMC and it looks like DMC with a girl instead. Corny dialogue, guns, swords, hitting things over the head and then shooting them. What's not to like?
1. FFVII Cid/Vincent Epic shit - bastard thing's at over 40,000 words now an still nowhere near the end.
2. Transformers Hound/Sideswipe Epic shite - still around the 30,000 word mark possibly more, also same problem - not near the end.
Someone tell me again why I can't write one-shots any more?
3. Art request for Reno/Vincent that I may do if I stop being a cantankerous old bastard.
4. Turning epic Cid/Vincent shite into a comic for human anatomy practice - oh and background, perspective and just generally everything really.
5. Legacy of Kain fic. I've not written for the fandom for years, but I started a fic called 'Uschtenheim' (sp?) and I've been promising my brother in crime that I'd finish it. I've only been saying I would for the last five years.
6. Devil May Cry not-quite-so-epic-but-still-long fic. One of the few fics I've started writing in the past and actually like. One day, I will finish it.
7. Pick up a few more prompts at the Musou meme.
8. Last, but probably interspersed between everything else: Lots and lots of drawing.
9. Oh, and I really need to get on with ripping Paul Tice a new one about English history, but that's not fandom and I've been feeling crap lately so need to do things that make me smile.
10. Cid/Reeve pr0ns. Probably artz.
I will draw Transformers again. But I've temporarily forgotten how to draw robots *woe*
Anyway, in keeping with the whole wanting-to-keep-all-my-stuff-together-so-my-family-can-have-thier-eyes-throughly-burnt by all my fandom crap should I die, I might be making some old crap posts of fanfic and such like. I'll try to remember to backdate it so I don't make my small flists on LJ and DW wonder why they're suddenly exposed to so much WTF in one go. Because some of it is pretty WTF.
